The northern Scottish island of Fair Isle is famous for its distinctive sweaters, each boasting a bold pattern that represents the community that created it. We loved that idea, but we live here in Florence, Alabama, so we had to put our own spin on that story. The result is this sweater, which takes our two most famous motifs—the ribbon stripe and the pelican—and stitches them throughout in a beautiful, two-tone tweed herringbone knit that’s crafted in Italy.
